OSBA Annual Convention – “Building Bridges to Student Success”

The North Bend School District Interim Superintendent, alongside our School Board members, were fortunate to attend the Oregon School Boards Association’s (OSBA) 79th Annual Convention in Portland from November 6 through 8, 2025. The event was informative and engaging, offering numerous opportunities for learning and collaboration with education leaders from across the state.
The convention emphasized practical strategies to strengthen student success, enhance board governance, and support effective communication among district leadership teams. Sessions highlighted best practices in board-superintendent partnerships, community engagement, and legislative advocacy.
Keynote presentations, roundtable discussions, and workshops provided valuable insight into statewide initiatives and emerging challenges facing Oregon schools. It was also a meaningful opportunity to connect with colleagues and exchange perspectives on both local and regional issues.
Shout-out to our amazing School Board! After attending the OSBA Convention, they came ready to share, learn, and lead. Pictured here are our wonderful School Board members sporting their new OSBA swag. Thank you for all you do for our students and community.
