Exciting News for the 2023-2024 School Year

I am pleased to inform you that the North Bend School District is participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program. This Program allows us to provide free breakfast and lunch to all enrolled students without requiring meal applications. This means your student will have access to nutritious meals throughout the day, helping them to stay focused and thrive in their studies.

The CEP Program is a federal initiative aimed at reducing food insecurity and ensuring that all students have equal access to healthy meals. We understand the importance of a nutritious diet in supporting your child’s education and overall well-being. With the CEP program you no longer need to worry about meal expenses during the school day and will help build a more inclusive and supportive environment for the entire school community.

While breakfast and lunch are covered by the CEP program, please note that ala carte, such as milk for cold lunch, and other school related expenses are not included. Also, any previously owed meal expenses are still the family’s responsibility. Online payment methods are listed below.

P-EBT Program

Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) is part of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic and provides food benefits to families with children missing free or reduced-price meals due to school and childcare closures. P-EBT is a program in partnership with the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) and the Oregon Department of Education (ODE).

This program is available to all school aged children who were eligible to receive free or reduced-price meals during the 2021-2022 school year.

Payment Options

North Bend School District now has two options for making credit card deposits into you student's cafeteria account.

To Use MealTime Online:

  1. Go to MealTime Online to get started!

  2. Create a MealTime Online profile. Click on the "Create new profile" link and create a Username and Password that you will use to login to MealTime Online. The Username and Password must be at least 6 characters. For example, Username: csmith Password: pty845.

  3. Add your student. Login to your MealTime Online account (using the Username and Password that you created in Step 1. Click on “Meal Account Deposits” then click the "Add New Student" link and add your student by entering their First Name only and their Student ID number.

  4. Make a Deposit. Click the "Make Deposit" link to make a deposit into a school account. There is a web site transaction fee for making deposits. Click the "View Details" link next to your student's name to view their cafeteria account balance and purchase history.

To Use SchoolPay:

  1. Go to SchoolPay or download the SchoolPay Payment Center app.

  2. Find or Create your account.

  3. Login or open your app and pay electronically with your credit/debit card or electronic check.

Note: For either online payment system, online deposits are retrieved and added to your student’s balance at their school automatically. Student information, such as purchase history and their current cafeteria account balance are updated on the web site within 4 hours.
